A film that explores the relationship between man and technology… told from the perspective of a phone. Variously described as an Animation, an Experimental Film, a Narrative, a Documentary or a Film-Poem depending on who you speak to, this hand drawn animated film is based on the poem ‘Seven Billion’ written by the film director that won 2 National poetry awards: The Young Australian Writerís National Award for Poetry, selected out of a field of 30,000 and the Karen W Treanor Poetry Award (Youth)
Luis is going to visit his grandmother. At night, a ray of moonlight wakes him up and leads him to a table where there is a puppet who wants to be repaired. The grandmother, a shoe and a pool of water will be accomplices of this adventure.
A woman, middle-aged, mired in discouragement and on the edge of the abyss, begins to find objects in her path. The encounters are more and more numerous, obsessing until they believe that they are marking their destiny. A final encounter will change your point of view from the ground to the sky.
